I can not run pw_update on

I can not run pw_update on windows 7 32 bit.
When I pressed step 1, nothing happened.
Any one help me how to fix this?
Thanks.

I just got my Clubsport

I just got my Clubsport pedals today. Are they already on the latest firmware? I noticed that even after putting the dll in the rfactor folder, the Porsche Wheel Property page still has the CSP/ brake vibration settings grayed out.

I decided to flash my pedals

I decided to flash my pedals with the new firmware to set a custom deadzone.

The flash went fine but now the pedal vibration doesn't work. When i click the test button nothing happens and it's not working in game (rfactor) either.

Have tried re-flashing and reinstalling the drivers and also tried the pedals on 2 more PC's with the same result. It was working perfectly before so it's definately as a result of the flash.

Any ideas? or does someone have a copy of the original firmare so I can roll back?

Many thanks

Darren

Any news on the 64-bit

Any news on the 64-bit version of the CSP updater?

Hi ReDi,   It's a little

Hi ReDi,

It's a little bit "unfair" that you call for 64bit support. The firmware update is just an extra feature which comes as a gift and sadly there is only 32bit support. Making the updater 64bit compatible would be a huge effort which we cannot put into this little program right now. I am pretty sure that everyone who wants to experiment with firmwares will also find a 32bit system to use the updater.

 Best regards,

Armin

Any news or a timeline when

Any news or a timeline when we can expect the 64-bit version of the firmware updater?

I just can use

I just can use deadzone-10,if i use the others deadzone is like some pressure is still applied on the brake pedal...Both on PC and PS3!!!

I'm having issues trying to

I'm having issues trying to get the new firmware loaded to my CSP's using 64 bit vista. Any help getting this sorted would be greatly appreciated :)

After I connect the pedals I then open up the PW update utility (tried both 32 bit and 64 bit beta). From there I'll click on "step 1 - start bootloader" and nothing opens from there. At the bottom of the PW update utility it also says "No device detected" and when I click on the "step 2 - Update CSP's" it also states that there is no bootable device detected.

The weird part is that despite this, I have already noticed the increase response that the updated firmware was supposed to bring. The only problem is that I am still unable to adjust the dead zone, which is still over a 1/2". I would REALLY like to get rid of the deadzone entirely as it would probably gain me a few tenths of a lap on certain circuits.

Thanks again for any help or advice. Once I can figure out how to get the DZ adjusted, I will be 100% happy with the set-up :)

The 64 bit is completely

The 64 bit is completely broken. I doubt they even tested it before releasing it because it does not work for anyone. Been weeks and still no firmware update for us 64 bit users. For Fanatec, the problem with 64 bit is the bootloader will not launch, I can sit there and press it a thousand times and wait for hours but the program will not go. Please figure this out soon and give us an update.

Just submitting this here

Just submitting this here because all other methods of contacting Fanatec have failed. My order has been pending for the last several months, I have not received any mailings, nor was I notified of any delay after the original (which I may add was two months ago). I need this wheel sent to me soon, as I'm moving to Japan as of July seventh. I really wish that Fanatec would handle orders in a somewhat professional manner, and not have customers with badly supported hardware that never gets to the customer in what could be considered "somewhat" late. I would really like a status update on my wheel, but I almost figure this is an elaborate scam anyway. Please, contact me with my order information, and get me my wheel.

This is a beta product at

This is a beta product at this point and I'm sure they are struggling to meet investor needs as well as refine the product for a robust community that wants a reliable and feature packed wheel system.

I think you will likely find them receptive to a Japan delivery. Too bad your on the opening release of the wheel with time constraints. I hope you find a way to wait it out for the reward of a feature packed wheel system. I know I am finding it very hard to wait. My order still says processing too. I at first did not get email but adding them to my approved mail list let the email get to my in box even though my spam filter rejected all other mail from them.

Whilst I can understand your

Whilst I can understand your frustration, having waited 5 months for my GT3RS and Clubsport Pedals, I can assure you that this is not some elaborate scam. These are high quality exclusive products manufactured in smaller quantities and hence supply is more limited, they aren't your regular off the shelf items.
Have you tried to phone them? I did and got straight through to someone who could help me.
Calling their products badly supported is not fair in my experience, they have been very responsive to my issue, with as quick a turnaround as possible for international shipping. Fanatec stand 100% behind their product.

I hope you manage to resolve your issue in time for your move to Japan.

Calling again.

I too switched to my XP

I too switched to my XP 32-bit partition to update the pedals, but sure enough it doesn't work... The pedals are recognized fine in the Windows Controller window, but not in the updater... Is there any magic to get them recognized?

Thomas I still havn't had my

Thomas I still havn't had my e-mail about the PWTS delay, do you guys even aknowledge my order exists?

Any updates on a working 64

Any updates on a working 64 bit version? The current one is broken, doesn't work for anyone.

I was concerned as you are

I was concerned as you are when I didn't receive the email in the first 'mailing'.

Not sure if you've checked this but, if you log back into 'my account' on the webshop, the top of the page will show all previous/current orders and you can verify the status there.

I'm sure that you'd like to hear something from Fanatec directly but, at least this will give you immediate proof that you still have an open order.

I've killed my pedals :-( I

I've killed my pedals :-(
I switched over to my XP partition, booted, got the device recognised and bootloader visible as per the instructions. When I selected the firmware file it said downloading and nothing at all happened. I waited for 30 mins which should have been long enough. AV was disabled etc.
Now the pedals are not seen as a USB device or by the GT3RS wheel, so I guess the firmware got erased and never updated.

Thomas, what should I do?

This is the first time that

This is the first time that something like that has been reported or occured. I have no idea what happened so we need to analyze your pedals. Please get in contact with customer support to send back the unit. We will compensate you for shipping in this case and repair the unit within one working day.

My pedals have been serviced

My pedals have been serviced and are on their way back to me, which is good because I have had to use my old Logitech gear instead and it feels rather cheap in comparison.

To all the doubters out there Fanatec do stand behind their product and I would not hesitate to recommend their products to my friends.

Thomas, I apoligize for

Thomas,

I apoligize for jumping into someone elses thread but I need to get your attention. I, and others, have received NO contact from anyone in your company regarding customer support. Many, if not all of us, have problems which should be addressed by them. If I did not know better, it would seem that Fanatec had only intended to send out one shipment of there product and then "take the money and run". They don't respond to anyone's emails or phone calls. Outside of the driver updates that are posted here, I really don't have any way of knowing that they haven't closed up shop. Thomas, this message is directed to you. You are the representative for your company here in this forum. We expect you to respond to these questions. So, Please give us an answer about if your company still exist and if so, then what is the problem? Many of us have been waiting for weeks for an answer from customer support, or anyone in the company that is willing to tell us all why we can't get out questions answered, or problems fixed.

PLEASE ANSWER US!!!!!!

To all others, if you see no response from Thomas/Fanatec, then buyer beware!!!

I'm not sure what your

I'm not sure what your problem is but Thomas and his people respond to me just fine. Its plainly obvious to me that these guys are working really hard. Give them a break and spare the rest of us your rant.

We are pretty much through

We are pretty much through with all open requests and we will get you an answer this week. Armin even works on a public holiday to make sure you get your replies.

Hi dcozadd, I do understand

Hi dcozadd,

I do understand your anger, but I think you have gone a bit to far with your comment. There won`t be any firmware and driver updates recently, if your conclusions where right. There won`t be any news at all e.g. Forza3.

As far as I know, these guys don`t give up! They spend so much effort in developing the GT3RS wheel and the CSP to satisfy their customers - us. And the build quality is awesome. I don`t regret buying them. This are new products on a new production line, therefore problems can occur.

As ReDi mentioned before Thomas and his staff are working hard at the moment e.g. to get the Porsche 911 Turbo Wheels out. And by the way it took Fanatec seven years to get their products licensed by Porsche with the requirement to bring out the best product on the market. There are much easier ways to get some peoples money.

So please give them a some time.

Cheers

Taffy

I have been in contact with

I have been in contact with Fanatec Support for the past weeks and I can assure you that they are working their asses off to reply to all requests for assistance. The problem is that they are swamped in emails because of the issues with the first batch of CSPs and GT3s.

I know that it's not right to be waiting for an answer for two weeks, but as far as I can tell from my contact with them they are working on it, and they are working hard.

So what we need to do right now is to be patient, and stop bashing Fanatec when ignorant of what's happening 'behind the scenes'. I agree that Thomas (or any other Fanatec rep) should formally state what's going on, but without having any facts other than that it takes very long, over-the-top conclusions like Fanatec not caring for their customers are uncalled for.

Agreed, as I said in another

Agreed, as I said in another post earlier about how busy they must be. E3 last week, travel to the US, press junket; they have a lot going on that's just public besides all the behind the scenes stuff. Could this be handled better, yes, but they are not looking to take people's money and run. I don't think Porsche the automobile company is in the business of going into business with fly by night companies looking for the initial order only to disappear.

I was a Fanatec beta tester on the original PWT 911 Turbo wheel, and I can assure you, they have stood behind their products. Sorry things are taking so long response-wise too, so I feel the frustration. But I have no worries they won't make it right.

Vista 64 bit : I have the clubsport pedals hooked up via USB separately, and they installed fine on the system, and run with iRacing. Downloaded the firmware patcher (beta for 64 bit) and the patcher does not detect the pedals, so the procedure cannot start.

Works Great!
I just loaded it from Windows 7 RC1 32bit onto my Clubsportpedals (connected via USB as i just moved from my 64bit system to 32bit to be nearly sure this will work). Got great zero deadzone now, but the needed pressure while braking is still moved to minimum with the poti. But feels way better now than before. Thanks!!!

PS: Any word on the 64bit Plugin for rFactor yet?
