This driver has undergone a complete rework of the installation routine and we made several bugfixes regarding the following issues:
- installation problems
- problems to detect the correct wheel
- rFactor plug in issues
Note: install the new rfactor .dll before you install the driver.
Please let me know if you still have issues. Thanks.

Well after intensive testing
Well after intensive testing on several games this driver seems to be working really smoothly. On iracing/netkarpro/LFS and rfactor no problems or loose of control what so ever. The wheel keeps up for hour long stints and I dont have any issue anymore.
Install issues on windows 7 x64 doesnt occur anymore, tried it on several machines. No problem what so ever. The plugin I keep forgetting to test on rfactor but seen some good results in this thread so not really needed to test for me.
When can we expect some plugin for other games ??
Are you radical enough ?

One of our community members made his own brake vibration mod, and the good thing is that it works without noticeable performance loss in rFactor (compared to the reported ~20% FPS loss with the Fanatec ClubSport pedals plugin). Perhaps it's interesting to find out the differences between the two approaches and maybe improve the performance of the ClubSport pedals plugin?

The end of July is comming quickly!
I would like to know if you guys will deliver the second batch of GT3RS wheels on time as advertised?
Thanks in advance for your answer!
This might be a stupid
This might be a stupid question but even if I make a fool of myself I have to ask if it is normal that I don't have PWservice.exe or PWsrvc.exe processes running?
Everything seems to work ok but everytime when I tried to install a new driver there have been some difficulties and my win xp 32 haven't recognised the wheel or pedals correctly. Instead it have prompted it's own new hardware installation wizard.
With driver 091 I
With driver 091 I experienced a lock-up of GT Legends when online the session would change (from qualification to race, for example).
When the session changes, the game basically stops, you're set back into the garage and the wheel is centered again. Exactly at that moment, the program freezes. I saw at least one other report of this in the older driver thread, though for this person it was solved by uninstallng a certain plugin. However, I don't have that or any other plugin installed.
This problem only occurs when driving online.
Has this problem been seen by Fanatec's driver development people, and has it been solved in driver version 097?
I still have to test this with driver 097.
That`s what I experienced
That`s what I experienced too. But I wasn`t sure if the Fanatec driver caused this CTD`s.
I've had the CTD at session
I've had the CTD at session change with the 0.97 driver and the XD plugin wasn't installed, so it seems that it could be a driver issue.
It only happens if your on track at session change, so could it be the FFB or shock settings?
Personally I think it has
Personally I think it has something to do with the sudden stop of FFB data being sent to the driver. With my Logitech G25, when a session change would occur while on track, the wheel would center itself because there was no input anymore from the game since the car was placed into the garage again. It seems to me that the Fanatec/Porsche driver gets confused by the sudden change in input, or perhaps there is a bug in the centering routine.
You could be right, the last
You could be right, the last few times I've had the CTD was mid corner.
Good news! It seems that in
Good news! It seems that in the next driver release the CTD/crash problem is solved. I got early access to driver version 099 and tested session changes online and no more CTD/PC crash for me :o)
I still can't use 100% of
I still can't use 100% of force-feedback,if i do that the ff got serious issues....And it's the same with older drivers.
Tried it and went back to
Tried it and went back to the previous version.
I can't apply the telemetry settings if I select them from the drop down menu. Therefore the LCD doesn't work in rF.
It does work fine in the old version.
I'm om 32 bit version and installed the new dll in the plugin folder.
Thomas, driver installed
Thomas, driver installed fine on Vista 32 here. I de-installed (remove programs) the previous beta then installed this release. Oh, first I put the rFactor dll in plugins as directed.
Then ran the installer- no errors. Wheel/pedals connected still with USB dongle BTW (I have original PWT until my RS or Turbo S beta arrives.) So fine installation.
Ran rFactor, noticed a 10-20% FPS drop off, plug-in not worth it IMHO (for me with how taxing stereo 3D 1080p is; but I may retry the plugin later.) But I had forgotten to check the wheel settings, so I quit, went to game controllers, Porsche Wheel properties, and it thinks my wheel is a 911 Carrera Wheel. No status feedback such as pedal levels or turning the wheel on this page work. FFB test does work.
I go to next page, settings, and it shows the icon of the correct wheel, 911 Turbo. Okay, good enough! Then I noticed it was set for 0 degrees by default? So I change it to 900, drift mode 3 as I preferred before, save, but still no feedback on main page and mis-id wheel type.
Any ideas what to do? I tried pulling the USB dongle and reconnecting, but it worked the same way, as well as after re-starting. I have not deinstalled-reinstalled the driver yet. Please advise. Thanks! Appreciate all the improvements you all are pushing forward!
I removed the driver,
I removed the driver, stopped the pw service running, and reinstalled, and now it sees I have the proper wheel, the original 911 Turbo. So that must have be an install problem before. I think I forgot to stop the service in task manager last time or something, sorry.
I had those problems on the
I had those problems on the 094 version but not on 097. We will hatcheck it again.
I would re-install the driver and use a new USB port.
Can someone explain how to
Can someone explain how to deinstall driver or tell me which files i have to delete??? Thanks....
You have to uninstall the
You have to uninstall the driver through the Windows Control Panel.
Go to Control Panel, Software, select the Porsche Wheel driver and select Uninstall. Make sure that PWservice.exe or PWsrvc.exe is not running before installation.
In Vista I think it's called Configuration, and there you can either select Software and then do the same as above, or directly select Uninstall Software and select the Porsche Wheel driver.
Thanks a lot !!!
Thanks a lot !!!
Done 5 and a half hours
Done 5 and a half hours racing online with GTL. I'm still getting the FFB sticking on when driving over a curb, and then having to hit another curb to stop the FFB. It doesn't do it every time I hit a curb, but seems to be when I hit a curb while the car is powersliding a bit.
I'm not sure if it's because of a conflict with my Driving Force Pro (need it for pedals), but when I drop down the gears with the paddle shiter, it sometimes drops down 2 gears at a time. It happens about once every 3 or 4 laps of a medium sized circuit.
Windows Vista 64-bit detects
Windows Vista 64-bit detects the drivers as signed for me.
Plugin works properly for rFactor. I don't have CSP pedals, so I can't comment on that.
The in iRacing, drift mode doesn't work very well for me, even when set to 5. I still get a reasonable amount of resistance when just steering normally. it seems to help in rFactor though. I'll try other games and different settings.
Still prefer release version
Still prefer release version 0.88 for XP for the same reasons I`ve mentioned in the older drivers thread. That`s because even at the maximum value for the Driftmode (0.97 again with max. at 5) the wheel feels clumsy. The overall resistance of the wheel is way to high for a decent FFB setting. The version 0.88 had the option to choose higher values for the Driftmode. And my wheel behaves nice and free at value 8. Easy to setup the FFB settings in GTL then. So if there is no concern about a higher Driftmode value - Please, please implement them on the next releases.
Another thing worth to mention is the autocenter option. I would suggest to give it a slider to apply suitible settings for the autocenter force.
Thinking about the ideal driver, I would like to have sliders for Driftmode (basic resistance) and Autocenter spring - like suggested above. And something like a three band equalizer instead of the damping slider. To dampen or enforce high, med and low FFB frequencies.
Cheers
Taffy

I did not test it personally but it should be signed

Works great for me here on 64bit Se7en.
Great job out there. Only thing i see you could improve is the FPS with the plugin, got only 40FPS instead of way over 100...may it´s possible?
