Driver 099 available

There were some bugs in the FF protocol in ver 097 which caused the FF to stop.

We also  solved the issue with hanging sliders of the pedals in the tes tab.

Well since there isnt a

Well since there isnt a place for posting your problems with driver 100 so i post it here. I am using a Win7 x64 RTM version and off course the 100 driver. The wheel starts rotating as soon as I plug in the power cord. The only way it stops if I adjust settings ingame or when I use the propertie page from the wheel and click FFB testing. After I did one of the above its over. But it happens every time I plug in the wheel.

Another problem I encounter is when I have the highest setting on wheel of 100 % FFB. After a corner it stops with the FFB and makes the wheel turn a 90 degree back and forward. It goes really quick and doesnt really disturb the line of the car but feels extremly odd. It feels like the car is sliding at the back and suddenly regains grip again. I am already accelarating in a straight line out of the corner and car is straight. It only happens on a 100% FFB as far as I have notice it. Maybe even in lower FFB but havent notice it yet. Anyone has a solution ???

ANYONE HAD THIS ISSUE? I

ANYONE HAD THIS ISSUE? I installed the driver version 100, but PWservice.exe is not listed in the task manager list... Plus, everytime I restart my computer, Windows is searching for drivers for my new device... When I go in the device manager, a big yellow ? (unknown device) appears in the list.

The Porsche wheel software is working... I can calibrate the wheel and the clubsport pedals, but apparently the driver is not. Please help.

V99 systematically crashes

V99 systematically crashes when in GT Legends an online session changes from qualification to race. V97 does not have this, although with v97 if you are on the track when the session changes it will crash as well as reported by several people.

I see a v100 available on www.fanatec.de, what's new in this driver?

I'm using the 100 driver at

I'm using the 100 driver at the moment and it seems a bit more stable, I've been racing GTL online all evening (4 hours) without a CTD.

The rumble bug is still there, but it doesn't happen as often.

Installed v100 last weekend

Installed v100 last weekend and it seems OK, at least I tried online a couple of times and no crash when changing from qualification to race.

sometimes in iRacing, I

sometimes in iRacing, I won't get force feedback unless I minimize and then maximize my window . Also, when countersteering past a certain point, the steering wheel gives FFB resistance that wasn't present in previous drivers.

I went back to the 097 as I

I went back to the 097 as I had some problems with the plugin in 099. The display was ok, but I could not feel any engine revs of the vibration motor. Back in 097, it works fine again (yes,I used the 099 plugin with 099 drv). And now using the 097 again, I find the 097 FF a little better, too. I think it gives a little more details, when loosing front grip. In coming versions some more settings for the driftmode (there were more in older drivers) would be fine, too.

When I mix the 097 plugin

When I mix the 097 plugin with 099 driver, the vibration motor works. The same with the new 100 driver from the fanatec support page: with the 100 plugin the vibration fails, when I mix 100 driver with 097 plugin, it works!

The FFB seems to have lost

The FFB seems to have lost all of it's bite with this driver. There isn't much feel to the wheel when on track.

In GTL, GTR2 and GTR Evo the FFB would stop as if the wheels motor lost power, and I would have to adjust the games FFB settings to get the wheel to respond again. This has only happened with the 0.99 driver, so I've gone back to the 0.97 driver.

Same here, too :-( "In

Same here, too :-(

"In GTL,...,GTR Evo the FFB would stop as if the wheels motor lost power" or the grip is lost for a moment. In this moment I could not shift and stear anymore. But it comes back after one second or so.
Example: GTR-Evo, Limerock with Radicals at TopSpeed-Braking into 1st Turn.

After some testing I had

After some testing I had some weird issue`s. The wheel when plugged in starts rotating from left to right in a continues speed. I have too replug the wheel to get ride of it. Also it feels like the curbs, bumbs and etcetra has less feel. I dont feel it that good anymore, I will play around with some settings. But overall feel is good.

It looks like your drift

It looks like your drift mode settings are too high

Hmmmmmmmm not sure there

Hmmmmmmmm not sure there Thomas, didnt changed anything in that setting. I will have a peak.

edit : Setting is to 0 as default. I never use that since I aint a drifer. I doubt these settings will help me in race. Since it reduces the feel for drifting so it doesnt heat up that quickly. Correct me if i am wrong.

Hi Niels, some call it

Hi Niels,

some call it DriftMode, some call it friction. DriftMode to zero means the wheel itself creates the highest ammount of artificial friction.

Car designers do everything to keep that friction at a minimum. Maybe they have a good reason for it?!
