There will be an upgrade option for existing wheels and I will let you more on that very soon.

EDIT: I forgot that the wheel also comes with an adapter to connect the G25 pedals to the wheel
EDIT2: Forget it. There is no adapter. Sorry for the confusion.

Hello Thomas Why do
Hello Thomas
Why do Australian customers pay $799 for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS clubsport wheel (Australian Dollars) for a product that costs $350 Australian dollars Converted from U.S. dollars ?
You are shipping these from China and to ship from China to Australia is cheaper than to the U.S. there is no VAT tax in Australia so the wheel should actually be cheaper we only pay tax on an item that exceeds $1000 Australian dollars (if we paid a GST on that it would still be cheaper than the U.S. VAT tax)
Why can you not be fair with Australian customers and make an option on your website for Australia and cut out the middle man as you have done for the whole of Europe and Canada/U.S. as paying $799 for a product that should cost less than $350 Australian is ridiculous it shows how you do not take into consideration the Australian market or fairness on the Australian customer ?
For almost a year and a half now I have been E-mailing Fanatec and have occasionally you have replied stating there would be an option for Australia as there is for all of Europe and Canada/U.S. but instead the method you have chosen to sell through Australian importers puts this wheel into a market price bracket that is totally unobtainable for the average Australian "please make this wheel affordable like the Logitech G27 to Australian customers"
Could you please be as courteous as to reply these questions :-)

Hello Thomas Where can I
Hello Thomas
Where can I make a petition on your forum so as you can make the Fanatec wheels affordable to the Australian public so it will be priced similar to the Logitech G27 ?

I have a question concerning
I have a question concerning the GT3 RS V2 and the porschewheelplugin.dll for rfactor. While I clearly apreciate improvements of the pedal shifters, stronger forces, better configurability, and the complete eliminiation of the "5° issue", it seems that the .dll is unusable in rfactor. Regardless of which settings I have tried (including setting FFB strength to only 10) or mod I've used, I can feel significant (and annoying) FFB effects, e.g. when I drive down the pitlane at low speed, driving on a prefectly flat part of the track, or sometimes even if I'm standing in the pitbox. On fast straights I would lose the car if I let go the wheel (while driving perfectly straight) due to this effect. After removing the plugin from the plugins folder, this is gone but so are some of the wheel's features as well.
The second question concerns the smoothness of the wheel close to the center (let say 0 to +/-10°). If I steer left, right, left, right, it feels much rougher than the V1. Is there any known reason for this? It cannot be a slipping belt, can it?
So, any plans from Fanatec to update the dll? Or will a coming firmware update do the job?
Thanks and regards, Andreas
We will update the dll and
We will update the dll and the driver as well but it will take some time.
This is great news! One
This is great news! One question: will this update also affect the smoothness close to the center position and make the wheel feel more like V1?

Hi Thomas, Just recieved my
Hi Thomas,
Just recieved my V2 GT3 today and I am ultra delighted with the wheel, The force feedback is second to none in my opinion....and i have owned alot of wheels in my time. The quality of the alacantara wheel is also superb and this this is without doubt the nicest most robust wheel i have owned.
The paddle shifters still need a lille work though, something similar to those on the thrustmaster ferrari f430 wheel would be nice.
Otherwise brilliant
When can we expect to see images of the new wheel you have in development.

What new wheel do you
What new wheel do you mean?
I only now about the Porsche Carrera Wheel, that comes out soon.

"Full PS3 Compatability" - I
"Full PS3 Compatability" - I would like to know what exactly this means? Is it just that you don't have to reset the PS3 clock to play GT5 I wonder? I thought the wheel was already PS3 compatable?
I love my GT3RS and use it exclusivly on the pc but would like to give it a try whenever GT5 comes out so I'm not sure if upgrading mine will really be benificial in anyway. I haven't felt left wanting for more tuning options then I already have & I don't use the paddles for shifting... so I just don't know.
Now add full X360 compatability and I'd pay twice the price for the upgrade! ;)
The current PWGT3RS (V1)
The current PWGT3RS (V1) works with PS3 but compatibility is uncertain with future updates on the PS3 or with future games. With V2 we are sure that it will be compatible in future.
Thank's for clearing that up
Thank's for clearing that up Thomas. :)
Interesting... Can we have
Interesting... Can we have another picture from the top of the wheel down on the paddle to show the space between the back of the wheel and the paddle?
I'm interested too about
I'm interested too about that "upgrade". Does it include all those improvements? Wouldn't want to buy 3rd wheel, I have PWTS and GT3(+2 G25's...) already, if there's a possibility to get old one up to date.
edit. Or maybe owners of the older model could buy new one with discounted(has to be substantial discount) price?

Hmm i think that i must hav a new wheel :)
Did you change that Porsche
Did you change that Porsche inner part of the wheel that holds the Porsche logo? I know it is plastic or rubber, but it looks more blue-ish. I thought in V1 it was more gray-brownish.
The pictures are not up to
The pictures are not up to date yet. What you see is actually a very old prototype of V1. The wheel cover is still gray as we only changed the inside parts.
Wow, you've outdone
Wow, you've outdone yourselves here. This will be my de facto recommendation to friends who don't have Xboxes but still want a really good wheel. The CS version isn't much more than a G27 and offers tangible upgrades in pedal performance and wheel adjustment.
In the Recommend accessories
In the Recommend accessories section it says ''ClubSport Shifter Paddles Carbon'' is this like the paddles in carbon? How come its not available in the web shop?
hmmm... you were reading too
hmmm... you were reading too much
Will you ever add 360
Will you ever add 360 support back in? I have the Turbo S wheel so I am happy using that on my 360, PS3 and PC but would hate to have to lose 360 support if it ever broke as the Turbo S wheel has really spoiled me for XBOX racing, no other wheel would come close.
I think when the time comes
I think when the time comes where your Turbo S breaks, there already is a Xbox 720 or something like that. And there will be solutions ^^
Can we expect to see those
Can we expect to see those shiny new clubsport paddle shifters sold seperatly in the store soon? I would love to use those on my Turbo S.
I waited for V2 and I have
I waited for V2 and I have to admit it was the right decision. The new Feautures are really cool. They lift the GT3RS ti the level of the 911 turbo S. Without xbox360 compatibility of course.
I think i will buy the GT3RS V2-UE
I am very curios about the
I am very curios about the upgrade option for the "old" version of the wheel ... Hope to hear soon about it, having an acceptable pricing!
