In the latest version of JSJ's GPLshift mod for Grand Prix Legends he implemented support for the LED display of the Porsche wheels.
Thisis still an early BETA version so it has it's limitations.
Please check out his website to download the mod and more info:

Not yet but there will be a SDK...
I guess the SDK or anything
I guess the SDK or anything like open code to feed information into the Wheels led is already out for everey hobby programmer or enthuastic sim racer to develop a plugin for each game, but nobody is doing it.
It up to the game developers to program any kind of I/O Data to various range of controllers or sth like that.
Outgauge for example outputs telemetric data form the racesim game live for speed. With a little know how and technical skills its easy to display rpm, fuel drain egg. an a 2nd screen or even another machine within the network.
there are simliar plugin for rfactor asweel.
Regarding console gaming (X360 PS3 ..) it ALWAYS up to the publisher or game development
sofar so good
How about the support in
How about the support in Forza 3 or GT5 that comes in november?
That's not up to Fanatec
That's not up to Fanatec otherwise I think it would be working already.
For console games it is the game developers (Polyphony Digital and Turn 10) who need to make their game support the feature. Maybe we'll see it in GT5 and Forza 4 ... hopefully!
How about support for
How about support for rFactor?! It still doesn't work for me :( if I use the Porsche plugin the wheel goes crazy, turning left and right quickly :)
