The first CSR Elite wheels have arrived at the customers and in order to give them a perfect experience from day 1 we are releasing 715 right away.
The new updater is not 100% ready yet but works much better than the old one and runs stable on Vista and Windows 7.
Please read the manual inside the .zip file and follow it carefully. This is really important to assure a smooth installation.
715 will bring several improvements and bugfixes.
- Issue with shifter paddles on Xbox360
- Imporved force feedback effects
- Autoclutch
- Improved damper on PC and PS3. PC needs a driver for further imporvement but this will follow soon.
This version is only compatible with CSR Elite but we are working on a similar version for the CSR, PWGT2 and PWTS wheels.
Enjoy your CSR ELite with 715!

I noticed something like that too, it's like engine the kicks in too sudden in the middle of the corner in Forza 4. Feels like something is loose.
I've not noticed it in F2011 windows
But this firmware is already a big improvement of the 707 so kudo's to you thomas for releasing it as is and not letting us wait.

So you are telling me I have paid £500 for a wheel with an inherent deadzone in the ffb? When will 717 be released to us because as of now I have a wheel coming to me that is as good as useless.

Second: all new high tech hardware and software have bugs, no matter which manufacturer who made it. Live with it or wait a few months until you buy!

What a silly post. Your first point isn't a point. The wheel is a substantial amount of money regardless of currency.
I kind of like the slight
I kind of like the slight deadzone. It only happens when the cars weight shifts in a chicane and when it loses grip. It feels more realistic than when the wheel simply jerks from one side to the other and gives me a lot more feedback on what my car is doing.
Cool :) thanks Thomas :)
