Production of ClubSport wheel has started

We finally started the production of the ClubSport base and rims.

The production preparation took longer than expected as we decided to make a lot of customized fixtures for each step in order to get maximum quality.

You can see the production line in a short video I made with my mobile phone and posted on our Facebook page.

We will start shipping in May so the first wheels will arrive in our warehouses in June. We will not airship units this time. The pre-orders will start soon but I want the wheels on the boat so we know when they arrive.

The CSW and the CSR elite

The CSW and the CSR elite are almost the same - with identical mechanical parts inside, of course no quick release (but still the rim is detachable) the main difference is the electronics the x box have controller limitations and the CSR elite is on that limit the CSW is not xbox compatible so it isn't affected by that limit.

Yes but with different electronics which result in some limitations but on the other side gives x box compatibility
Maybe it would be too hard to do an upgrade manually and fanatec won't invest in it

I have made a stabilized version of the video:

Though now you have to deal with visible artefacts (motion blur on wobbles which were not visible on the original video, but which was... wobbly^^ That's a tradeoff).

However I personnaly prefer this, despite the motion blur artefact become visible I find the video more relaxing to watch when stabilized, and it let you better see what those people are doing exactly.

Hope you don't mind this re-up Thomas, or I'll just remove it.
