I updated my wheel an now it is oscillating instead of centring when I turn it on

Just updated to 752, and I still have an issue with my wheel overcompensating when its trying to return to center, which results in having to correct against it. This makes keeping it under control after a quick back and forth corner very difficult.

I use FF 100, Sho 100, and all others at 0 or off (accept ACL).

Here is a video

Try lower combinations of your drift (DRI) and Spring (SPR) settings. Haven't liked the feel of the "OFF" settings and use the numeric values instead (DRI 1, SPR -4) with my GT2. Likely different values needed for the CSR.

Had spring at 0, (didn't

Had spring at 0, (didn't realize it had negative values) put it at -4 like you said, it made the return to off center less forceful, and thus more playable (thanks for that), but it still isn't right. Tried 0 as well as playing with the drift too.
To make sure this wasn't an effect that happens in real life I even took my real car out and tested flicking my wheel and it always centers. The wheels of the car should pull the steering wheel back to center, there shouldn't be momentum like there seems to be that makes it rock past center then back again.
***I meant fw756***

Try adjusting DPR as well

Try adjusting DPR as well then - it has +/- values as well as OFF.

Tried putting damper to negative settings, unfortunately it didn't solve my issue. I did find that if I put Spr and Dpr all the way up, the wheel didn't go as far off center on return, though with those settings it becomes quite a work out trying to drive.

I reverted back to 706 and

I reverted back to 706 and still have the same problem... Beginning to wonder if something is wrong with my wheel, since more people are not complaining about this.

Thank you for the new

Thank you for the new firmware so far tested on F112 and Europe Truck Sim 2. Will test my other games when I get a chance.

Noticed that the LED display shows my speed on F112, is this a new feature? Can't say it was present on the 450fw. Are there any other new features I should know about or settings that can be changed?

Thanks for this new

Thanks for this new firmware, works great in both Forza 4 and Horizon.

Very pleased with this

Very pleased with this firmware version, wheel feels really good!

Wishing you all a successful 2013!

Hi,
I am experiencing a loud grinding noise sometimes when i turn my CSR wheel on.
It sounds quite alarming, and i must restart the wheels power to get the grinding noise to stop.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Thanks,

Peter.

Question - does this driver

Question - does this driver have the same FF 'deadzone' that 750 had?

As in - the largeish area around the center where there was no FF at all?

And has anyone tried it with F1 2012?

Thanks!

I have been using it for the

I have been using it for the CSR E.... The center is Not Dead but its not as much tension as when you start turning.. You can clearly feel the center point of the wheel...Feels smooth , Precise & Responsive at least on the CSR E. It feels Much better than 750 which I did Not like at all! FFB kicks in the same but yet different.... feels much much better! With Time to get used to the new feel I think it will improve my lap times and overall consistency.

Thanks for that GrimeyDog.

Thanks for that GrimeyDog. Just installed and tested and yes much nicer.

A thing that remains though (this with 737 as well) - if I INCREASE wheel rotation that in turn REDUCES the FF effect. Anything above about 400 and FF is near non-existent. Rumble effects are fine, but wheel forces suffer badly and virtually disappear.

Only in the mid to high 200's is it any good, but that's not what I want to run.

Anyone else get this? I only play F1 2012 (PC). FF is of course on 100 on the wheel and in game.

FFB I haven't played F1

FFB
I haven't played F1 2012 for the PC I have the demo from steam on my PC will try it in a bit... But I just tried it for the XBox 360 and the FFB was there it felt very even and smooth through out the whole turning range.
I think the Lack of FFB effect's is a problem on the Games end. I also played F1 2012 on 737 and the FFB effect's feel is the same to me on 756... To me the feel is always very Flat not a lot of steer and counter steer effects or anything that gives me the feeling of G forces or Car weight transfer. I think 737 may give a little more rumble strip feel but not by much...My Buttkicker is barley active when playing F1 2012 even when I hit the wall on purpose I cant get any Boom out of it or the wheel. I think its just the way they made the game.
I think that 100% FFB on 737 Feels Stronger because of how the FFB is applied in 737 its just there Full time Full on.
With 756 it seems that the FFB is applied in progressive steps and that its not always 100% full on.

Steering sen
@270 the car felt very skiddish going into Sharp corners as if i turned the wheel too fast driving on Gravel...Even though im turning the wheel the car just pushes and slides straight.
In fast sweeping corners @270 felt like i was over steering and and could not hold a smooth Fast line because of that.
Played around with it and 340 feels Good... No Over Steer No Under Steer...
@340 Feels just right.

Been using csr wheel for a

Been using csr wheel for a while now. mainly for forza 4 on xbox. I'm having 2 problems with mine. first is my headset when plugged into the wheel doesnt work too well. i have to talk really loud for it to pick up and it makes popping sounds every now and then. I'm using turtle beach x41 and they dont do this when plugged into a regular xbox controller. my second problem is with the vibration feedback while playing forza 4. on last firmware i could feel the vibration when turning as it let me know when i was on the edge of grip ( would start vibrating more and more the closer to the edge of grip i got) now there is a vibration that comes on just when going fast in a straight line and it drowns out the vibration that i used to be able to feel when going into a turn. its really throwing me off in the turns and i end up turning to much and breaking my traction on the front wheels. anyone else having this issue or is the vibrating when going fast in a straight line just a new feature?

I use the Tritton Ax720 head

I use the Tritton Ax720 head set the problem is Not the wheel or FW I used to have the same problem on the MS wheel ,GT2 Wheel & Now the CSR E it clicks and puts out a very anoying hum that you may not hear but every one else can
for some reason none of them work with headphones that use a power source... I just use a regular ms mic around my neck and turn the mic towards my mouth go to settings and set voice to play through the speaker its a easy Cheap fix comfortable also u dont even remember you are wearing the regular ms mic around your neck after a while...Trust me other than that you have to get the Tritton warheads with the built in blue tooth mic...I bought a set from best buy and took them back they dont work any better than wearing the ms mic arould your neck and they cost $299.00 Plus tax and warrenty. They only work on XBox thats it! Take the cheap way out like i did works great. u cant hear too much talkin during the race but who cares I be focused on running my lines gettin those lap times in. But you can chat up a storm in the lobbys. I Like my engin roaring loud.

New feature I think it

New feature I think it happens to me too. Same thing happens on CSR-E wheel with 750fw. I think it is like an engine vibration but only kicks in at higher speeds.

I upgraded the wheel. I only tried iRacing. It seems the FFB is stronger and more sensitive. Thanks and a good new year to Fanatec and all his members.

I upgraded my wheel, all beauty. I went to the track to test or took a back wheel and was connecting and disconnecting yourself. Exits the simulator and entered the Fanatec Whell Property Page, I'm using the last one left 144 and when clicked, the following message appeared: first team setup on this usb port failed. logged in with administrative privileges?

I uninstalled the drive wheel and installed again, the message disappeared, however, when I enter the simulator, driving back to connect and disconnect all the time, and the FF add wheel locks again.

Happened to you? Looking for help.

Thank you

Welton.

I'm looking forward very

I'm looking forward very much to the release of this firmware or the CSRE. I've been using stock FW since unpacking my wheel. I'm hoping this will finally resolve my mic issue on the X-box. The other 2 (PC PS3) have always worked perfectly with my Logitech F540's. I purchased all of these because they were good for all 3 platforms. I love my CSRE wheel and pedals!
Thanks and hope you all have had a Merry Christmas.

The mic issue will never be

The mic issue will never be resolved. It's a lack of shielding in the hardware. It's not something that can be solved with a firmware.
